The wait is almost over until we reveal the exciting names who will perform at this year's Cheltenham Music Festival.

This year we're back with eight days of tantalising music for the 78th Cheltenham Music Festival and this year's programme is a collection of musical delights including glorious chamber music and trailblazing next generation artists as well as so much more.

We can't wait to reveal the full programme on Tuesday 7 March and so we're giving you a peek at some of the incredible names who are set to perform.

We're thrilled to welcome back the the ever-imaginative Scottish Ensemble with award-winning composer Anna Meredith.

Clarinettist and composer Mark Simpson will also be taking to the stage as he joins the Doric Quartet to open the Festival with a concert that begins and ends with landmark works for clarinet quintet. While Laura van der Heijden will perform alongside Jâms Coleman in the Cheltenham-commissioned Roseland.

And that's not all. Experience the beauty of birdsong in an atmospheric and immersive concert from composer and improvisor Laura Cannell. And enjoy the return of the The Carice Singers to Cheltenham in a summer sequence inspired by light and luminosity.

This is just a taste of what to expect at Cheltenham Music Festival 2023. Keep your eyes peeled for our programme announcement very soon.
