What is VOICEBOX?

VOICEBOX was launched at The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival in 2021. An exciting new venue at the hear of the Festival village, VOICEBOX is designed to create a destination for young people to spend free time and share ideas.

A visually striking, Instagrammable space, VOICEBOX is home to free, pop-up events with the best young talent across a variety of topics including fiction, the arts, politics, lifestyle and science, exploring everything from spoken word to mental health and activism. You can currently find VOICEBOX at Cheltenham Science Festival and The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival as well as via our digital output.

Through free, short-form and drop-in content, VOICEBOX will offer a snapshot of writers, thinkers and influencers in the Festivals' tickets programme as well as amplify new voices talking about global ideas and issues that are important to young people right now.

How to get involved

Through VOICEBOX, we want to showcase the brave, fresh, original voices who are changing the conversation. If that’s you, please get in touch!

Keep your eyes peeled for VOICEBOX's return to Cheltenham Literature Festival this October.
