Booking Information

This page gives important booking information relating to your ticket purchases.

Families Welcome

Children & Families

Cheltenham Festivals have signed up to the Family Arts Standards to ensure that we provide a warm welcome to families.

We want to ensure that everyone is safe and can enjoy our Festivals so here’s some helpful booking information for families planning a visit.

  • The age recommendations shown are a guide to the age group we think will enjoy the event most. They are not a restriction; you know your child best.
  • Children aged 11 years and under must be accompanied by a ticket-holder aged 16 or over approved by the parent or guardian of that child. This person can accompany a maximum of 6 children to an event.
  • Everyone over the age of 12 months is allocated a seat and requires a ticket, while babies in arms (12 months and under) do not require a ticket unless otherwise stated.
  • Our prices are kept as low as possible to allow for this.
  • Cheltenham Festivals maintains a Safeguarding Policy but cannot take responsibility for unsupervised children.

Gift Aid

Donations & Gift Aid

As a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity, we depend on your support to bring the arts and sciences live to audiences, support emerging talent, and deliver inspirational educational programmes.

By making a donation, however big or small you will be making a real difference.

Ways to Donate

  • You can donate online at cheltenhamfestivals.com/donate
  • You can add a donation to your ticket order (suggested donation is 10% of total cost of your order)
  • During the Festivals you can contribute to the pink donation tubs found in various locations on site

Your donation, no matter what size, will make a difference and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Gift Aid
Gift Aid is an HMRC scheme that increases the value of donations from UK taxpayers by 25%, at no extra cost to the donor. For example, Gift Aid increases a £10.00 donation to £12.50, providing extra support for our work.

If you are eligible to sign up for Gift Aid you can do this as part of the donation process or when you book or register online through your account page.
