FameLab Academy is a schools initiative which seeks to revolutionise science communication in schools.

Teacher Applications Mentor Applications

In the competition, Year 9 students, supported by their teachers and a STEM Mentor from the world of academia or industry, prepare three minute presentations to explain a scientific topic in a dynamic and engaging way to a panel of judges. They will be judged on content, clarity and charisma.

Our partnership with the British Science Association enables finalists in each school to achieve a Bronze CREST award. The winner from each school receives a Masterclass in science communication and entry into the regional final.
