Details

Travel back in time and explore our ancient Earth with Lizzy Goodger from the Lapworth Museum of Geology. In this fun and interactive workshop, discover the lives of some of the incredible creatures from the past, including ammonites, saber toothed cats and the Lapworth Museum’s very own allosaurus dinosaur, Roary. You’ll also find out what fossil detectives do, and how they use fossils to learn about animals from the past.

Please note that bookings will close 24 hours before the workshop is due to start.

Biography

Lizzy Goodger is the Learning and Community Development Officer at the Lapworth Museum of Geology, based at the University of Birmingham. It’s a brilliant job, creating new and exciting ways to share the museum’s amazing collection of fossils, rocks and minerals with families and school groups. Most importantly, her favourite dinosaur is an Iguanodon because it looks like it’s always giving the world a big thumbs up!
