Literature Festival Production Manager (Fixed-term)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum pro rata or equivalent day rate
Full time + 33 days holiday, 5% pension contribution, staff ticket allocation
Location: Cheltenham (with occasional homeworking)

Cheltenham Festivals is a charity bringing outstanding arts and science to all. Our education, community and talent development programmes reach out year-round and culminate at the town’s internationally-acclaimed Jazz, Science, Music and Literature Festivals.
We are looking for an experienced production and technical manager to oversee and lead on all production requirements for the 2021 Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.
Supported by a professional operations team and working alongside an external production company to build the Festival site, the post-holder will procure all production and technical infrastructure for the Festival site and fixed venues used during the 10 day Festival in October.
The role will also lead on public catering and bars and input into the overall Festival experience for our audiences.
You will be well organised, have excellent project management, budgetary and IT skills with an exceptional eye for detail and enjoy immersing yourself in the world of live events.
This is a full-time role based in Cheltenham with the option of occasional home working; the contract includes full time attendance in Cheltenham in the lead up and over the Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 8-17 October 2021.
The role is suitable for Freelance or fixed-term employment contract.
