As the theme of migration continues to be a major talking-point in the world today, The Carice Singers bring their exquisite sound and unique spirit to pieces of music about travel, in some cases written by migrant or nomadic composers. Their programme includes the UK Premiere of Alex Freeman’s Calle sin nombre, which gives voice to the asylum-seeking victims of the US Government’s controversial family separation policies, and the World Premiere of Songs of Travel, a new multi-movement work by their Associate Composer Matthew Whittall.

Few can match The Carice Singers for musicality and beauty of tone.
