Our BBC New Generation Artist recitals showcase some of tomorrow’s most celebrated classical artists before they become household names. Our opening concert in the series features The Consone Quartet, the first period instrument quartet to be selected for the NGA scheme, fast making a name for themselves with their authentic and expressive interpretations of classical and early romantic repertoire. The Quartet’s residency with harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani at the 2018 Festival was a huge hit, and we are delighted to welcome them back for their first solo recital.
