Details

In a conversation programmed by Festival Guest Curator Bernardine Evaristo, we bring together Emma Dabiri (What White People Can Do Next) and Minna Salami (Sensuous Knowledge: A Black Feminist Approach for Everyone) to discuss the rich and diverse field of African feminism. Prying apart the Western-focused systems of power and privilege that have dominated ways of thinking for centuries, together they discuss a more globally-minded approach that offers fresh insights into the key cultural issues that affect women’s lives today. Chaired by Sarah Ladipo Manyika.
