In April 2020, a Sunday Times Insight report revealing the Prime Minister’s failure to attend emergency COBRA meetings as the Coronavirus pandemic spread across Europe, was one of the most-read articles in the paper’s history. The article prompted nationwide debate and an indignant and lengthy rebuttal from Downing Street. We join the Editor of The Sunday Times, Emma Tucker and the Insight team Jonathan Calvert and George Arbuthnott as they reflect on the continuing importance of investigative journalism, the painstaking methods they use to uncover a story, and evaluate the record of the government so far.

In order to manage audiences safely into each of our venues, we ask that you arrive up to 40 minutes before the event starts. See the Plan Your Visit section for detailed venue arrival times.
