From Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood to Fun Lovin’ Criminals frontman Huey Morgan or the Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde, The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival welcomes a number of big names from the music world in our Entertainment strand of the Festival.

From Robert Johnson to Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and beyond, Huey Morgan talks to Edith Bowman about his favourite revolutionary artists and discusses why music needs more rule-breakers than ever before, while Everything But The Girl singer Tracey Thorn brings her book Naked at the Albert Hall, an account about the joy and heartache of singing.

Writer Mark Ellen futher talks to guitar legend Ronnie Wood – sharing memories of the Birds, the Jeff Beck Group, the Faces and the Rolling Stones and revisiting his lost diary from 1965, he charts his journey to superstardom in his memoir How Can It Be?. Presenting another most evocative and honest music memoir, Chrissie Hynde brings along Reckless and joins Stuart Maconie as she talks about her exceptional career and the inspiration behind her music.
