Book It! for Schools 2013 promises to be as exciting as ever with a wide range of author talks and hands-on workshops for Key Stages 1-3. Schools can also book from a range of free activities to ensure that pupils and teachers have a great day out.
Watch drawings come to life on the page and let your imagination run riot with award winning author/illustrators Simon James and Emily Gravett. Join Marcia Williams for a whistle-stop tour of some of the greatest events in Roman times or travel the world with Fran Parnell in her Monster Stories.
Join us for fantastic events with popular authors at the top of their game, Philip Reeve, Francesca Simon, Gillian Cross and the brilliant duo Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell who will all be talking about their latest books in their well-loved series as well as old favourites. There will also be a chance to meet the author Angie Sage and find out how she gets her ideas for her fantastic characters in her popular Septimus Heap series
We are delighted to welcome the brilliant award winning writer for young adults, Patrick Ness plus performance poet Dean Atta will engage everyone in an interactive session encompassing poetry, drama and writing in conjunction with the Wicked Young Writers Award and the musical Wicked!

Prices start from just £4.50 a ticket and with plenty of author events to choose from, as well as the Discovery Trail and lots of fantastic free activities, we hope that schools from all over Gloucestershire and further afield will be inspired to take part in The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.
