Details

To mark the 50th anniversary of Jimi Hendrix’s 1968 masterpiece Electric Ladyland, guitarist, vocalist and arranger Denny Ilett assembled a 16-piece band of leading UK jazz musicians including Laura Jurd, Yazz Ahmed, Iain Ballamy and many more to set about crafting new arrangements of Hendrix’s revolutionary and iconic music. Taking the rock, blues, jazz, funk, soul and psychedelic elements of Electric Ladyland into a whole new area and celebrating rave reviews and sold out shows across the country, the Electric Lady Big Band make a hugely anticipated stop at the Festival.

I would like a big band that I can write and conduct for.
