Sending out echoes of jazz, electronica and ambient music, the Mercury Prize-nominated Portico Quartet create an incomparable singular, cinematic sound. Now rebooted as a quartet after a brief spell as the three-piece Portico, their latest album features a welcome return for Jack Wyllie’s ethereal saxophone and Duncan Bellamy’s mix of live and electronic drums, as well as the band’s mesmeric signature tones of the hang drum.

Duncan Bellamy drums, electronics
Milo Fitzpatrick bass
Jack Wylie saxophones, keyboards
Keir Vine keyboards

Portico Quartet stake claims to territory occupied by Radiohead, Cinematic Orchestra and Efterklang.
