Eric Gales was a child prodigy and heralded as the second coming of Jimi Hendrix when he released his debut album at 16.

As an African-American left-handed guitarist and expressive vocalist the Hendrix comparison is natural, but Gales has a blues-rock sound which also draws upon Albert King and Frank Gambale. His stellar supporters include Gary Clarke Jr and Lauryn Hill who appear on his latest album, and Carlos Santana, who describes Gales as ‘absolutely incredible’.

One of the best, if not the best guitar player in the world
