How do you hear a Silent-Piano? Join us with renowned Jazz Pianist, James Pearson and classical pianist Maya Irgalina in the Yamaha Discovery Space and find out! Simply slip on a pair of wireless headphones and enjoy the live performance in your own musical world. You can even try the Silent Pianos for yourself after the show. Suitable for all ages.

Junior Play for Keeps

These fully interactive sessions will involve children and parents singing, dancing and playing the keyboard in a fun and educational way! Limited spaces available, each session is 20 minutes.

Proove your groove!

Monday 6 May
3.15pm – 4pm

Come and play with members of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra led by their Artistic Director, Mark Armstrong. This hour-long workshop will address fundamentals of jazz performance practise (such as groove, playing by ear and improvisation) and how to create tight and stylish performance. The workshop is designed for young musicians aged 11-18, approximately Gr5+ and will enhance musical understanding in general as well as improve specific jazz knowledge.
