Science for Schools 2018

Over 6500 pupils from 90 schools enjoyed four fun filled days, making this another record-breaking year for our Science for Schools programme.

Alongside the ever-popular Discover Zone and MakerShack, the brand new CyberZone invited you to explore a digital world and tackle new technology.

Criminal Chemistry, Humans vs. Horses, Marine Machines and Adventures in Cyberland were just some of the hands-on workshops where pupils and teachers used science, technology, engineering and maths to crack codes, solve puzzles and even create hovercrafts.

Interactive and explosive shows investigated the most extreme environments on Earth (Our Wild World, Sea Soup) and elsewhere in the solar system (The Great Space Adventure), from the most natural (Gastronaut Extreme) to the height of modern technology (Smartphone Science), to name just a few of the fantastic experiences on offer.

If you didn’t make it this year why not have a quick look at our brochures for 2018, to inspire you to plan a visit in 2019.
