Trusts and foundations
The tremendous support we receive from trusts and foundations plays a vital role – in ensuring our artistic work is cutting edge and in helping us to reach the broadest audience possible.
Some of our current projects with trusts include:
- The Oldham Foundation who have supported the festivals for many years has kindly given us additional funding enabling us to design and build a new interactive festivals website. This development will help Cheltenham Festivals provide a rich and exciting interactive experience, extending the unique festival experience online, keeping our many visitors up to date with event information, podcasts and provide a platform for our many projects.
- With support from the Wellcome Trust, the Science Festival developed a series of events for the 2007 Festival entitled “Better Humans”, which explored human enhancement and life extension
- The Jazz Festival has a long and successful partnership with the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, supporting up-and-coming British jazz artists through the Jerwood Jazz Generation programme
- The Summerfield Charitable Trust are generously supporting the core costs of our Education team, enabling them to develop a strategy and focus on new projects
