Booking Terms & Conditions


CFTicketing charges a fee per booking to reflect the costs of providing the service which include card processing costs (for both credit and debit cards) as well as staffing, developing and maintaining the booking software and postage.

Our 2014 booking fees are as follows:

  • Online sales £3
  • Telephone sales £3.50
  • In person sales £1.50

For third party event sales the fee is £3.50.

We endeavour to keep our booking fees as low as possible and charge on a per booking basis rather than a per ticket basis to ensure this. We also endeavour to ensure that our booking fees are clear before any transaction is completed.


The Festival cannot refund money or exchange tickets, except in the case of a cancelled performance.

Cheltenham Festivals reserves the right to change artists or programmes as necessary.

Credit & Debit Cards

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. Please provide a card number, issue number, expiry date, security code, name and address of the card holder.

Members are entitled to a 10% discount on full price tickets at many Cheltenham Festivals events. Discounted tickets are for Member’s sole use. Discounts do not apply on events that include food or drink, or for those people with Associate Membership. Membership starts from £15 and offers discounts and priority booking at all four Festivals.

Ticket Prices

Ticket prices are shown on each event page. Please be prepared to show relevant ID at the Box Office and upon admission to events. For all children’s and family events a ticket must be purchased for each adult and each child attending.


Please note that all timings are for guidance only and are approximate.


Please arrive in plenty of time for your event. It is not always possible to admit latecomers once the event has started. The festival reserves the right to refuse admission to any performance until a suitable break, or at the first interval.

Free Events

Please note for some free events capacity may be limited and entry cannot be guaranteed

Additional Information for Families

Please adhere to the age range specified for children’s and family events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over, approved by the parent / guardian, and prices are kept as low as possible to allow for this. Any such person can accompany a maximum of 6 children to an event. Cheltenham Festivals maintains a Child Protection Policy, but cannot act in loco parentis or take responsibility for unsupervised children. If your child is disruptive you may be asked to leave the event.

Lost children will be taken to the Festival Box Office. Please ensure that children have your mobile number; wristbands are available from the Info Point if required.

For all children’s and family events a ticket must be purchased for each adult and each child attending.

Prize draw Terms and Conditions: Membership survey prize draw April 4th- 18th 2014

The promotion is open to registered members of Cheltenham Festivals membership scheme in the UK aged 16 and over only, and excludes employees and their immediate families of Cheltenham Festivals Ltd, their agents or anyone professionally connected to the Cheltenham Festivals membership scheme. 

No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion. Internet access required.

Entry into the prize draw is automatic upon completing the survey and entering a membership number. Participation includes fully complete surveys, not qualified and late entry.

Entry into the prize draw is limited to one entry per person only.

Prize draw promotional period – 12PM 4 April 2014 and closing at 11:59PM April 18th 2014. 

There are 6 Cheltenham Festival ticket vouchers totalling a value of £50 each available to be won.  

Winners are selected from all valid entries received via a random draw selection process which will be carried out the next working day after the relevant close date. 

Winners will be contacted by email within 24 working hours of the prize draw being carried out and must respond within 5 days to claim their prize, providing full address information and contact details for prize fulfilment. Failure to respond within this time or refusal to accept the prize will mean that the prize will be forfeited and Cheltenham Festivals reserves the right to re-allocate the prize to the next submission selected at random at the time of the original draw

Winners details will be displayed on Cheltenhamfestivals.com

No entrant can use their computer, via force or script, to enable multiple entries or multiple accounts or to undermine the survey draw. In such an event that person’s entry and all other associated entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be withheld.

No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by non-members will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. 

All prizes are non-transferable. No cash alternative

Winners may be required to take part in post event publicity for which there will be no remuneration

All entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions 

Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, Cheltenham Festivals reserves the right to cancel or amend this draw or these terms and conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
