The Times Cheltenham Science Festival and The British Society for Immunology (BSI) are working together on a collaborative knitting and science project to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). We’ve got 15 unique patterns related to MS, from chromosomes to immune cells to oily fish; there is something for everyone and every ability.
We’d like you to knit as many of these patterns as you can and send your finished objects to the BSI. From those, three displays will be created to exhibit the different aspects of Multiple Sclerosis and will be unveiled at the MS event on Sunday 12 June.
Book tickets for the MS event.
To be included in the final display, send your finished object(s) to the BSI at:

Everything you need to knit a neuron (or some sunshine) will be there: all the patterns, lots of yarn, and a knitting scientist or two to answer your questions. All you need to bring is a pair of knitting needles. Either donate finished objects or keep them for yourself!
