Can we gain from a different way of looking back at our past? What are the repercussions of “colonial amnesia” on the curriculum, and would a more shared story help us understand each other? To discuss how we prioritise what is taught we’re joined by acclaimed historian David Olusoga (Black and British), Martin Spafford who campaigns for a more diverse approach to history in schools, and the poet and BAME historian Louisa Adjoa Parker. Chaired by Libby Purves.
