Details

Beyond popular music, Will Young has always had a strong passion for jazz.

As one of the most well-known and recognizable figures in British contemporary music, his career since 2002 has encompassed multi-platinum albums and sell-out live tours.

Off the back of his recent fourth UK No.1 album 85% Proof, and its accompanying Love Revolution tour, Will released his most recent EP entitled Summer Covers – a euphoric, eclectic mix of fan-favourite covers recorded live in Dean Street Studios with the same band line-up from his jazz residency at the legendary British jazz venue the 606 Club, in 2010.

Will’s recent shows at PizzaExpress Jazz Club represent the continuation of a rare series of jazz shows, set in unique and intimate venues, following on from two sold-out jazz shows at the 606 Club.

Cheltenham Town Hall, Main Hall

The Town Hall, situated on Imperial Gardens in the centre of Cheltenham comprises of a Grand Main Hall, distinguished by its Corinthian styles columns and coved ceiling. The Main Hall is accompanied by dining and drawing rooms, as well as the Pillar Room bar.

The venue’s early 20th century Edwardian elegance makes it the classic ‘shoebox’ concert hall. With a seating capacity of 900, the Town Hall is perfectly suited to grand symphony orchestra performances with a thrilling impact.
