The superb Latin jazz pianist and composer Alex Wilson presents a band drawn from his Mali Latino project, awarded a ‘Top of the World’ accolade by Songlines Magazine. He strips back Jazz and Latin rhythms to their African roots – yet in a fresh, vibrant and modern way. With Malian Ahmed Fofana (vocals, guitar, balafon, djembe), Venezuelan Edwin Sanz (percussion and drums) and special guests Omar Puente and Rene Alvarez.

The Jazz Festival Big Top is a purpose built, 1300 seat venue situated at the heart of Jazz in the Gardens. Constructed in the classic style of a circus big top, the arena is fully lined and offers tiered seating. High quality sound and lighting production enhance the Festival experience inside this atmospheric jazz venue. The Big Top also boasts a substantial foyer area where Festival visitors can gather prior to events. Each year, the Big Top and Jazz Arena venues play host to a vast array of acclaimed headliners and rising stars throughout the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
