Cheltenham Festivals is among the leading cultural organisations in the country, producing over 560 innovative events across our annual festivals of Jazz, Science, Music and Literature. Underpinning this, our education programme provides a rich cultural experience for young people.
Cheltenham Festivals is delighted to announce that our internship programme is now open for 2012 and we are looking for enthusiastic, committed and reliable people to support our festival teams during the 2012 festival cycle. Our internships provide fantastic opportunities to be involved in delivering our top class festivals and to take part in the behind the scenes activities that enable these high profile events to be so successful.
Interns have become an invaluable part of the festival organisation and have the opportunity to experience a variety of tasks including event management, artist liaison, marketing, stage management, use of event management software, data entry and general office administration. This is a fantastic opportunity to see some amazing events, meet great authors, speakers and performers and work with experienced event managers and production staff. Every year, the festival creates an amazing buzz around town and you can be part of it.
This year, we will be looking for passionate and capable interns to work alongside our teams to deliver inspirational festivals.
If you think you have the skills, the drive, the ambition and the commitment to work with this ever expanding arts organisation please submit a CV and a covering letter to admin@cheltenhamfestivals.com. Please ensure that you identify the festival that you are most interested in supporting. As part of our commitment to our internship programme, Cheltenham Festivals is now making a small contribution to living costs.
Cheltenham Jazz Festival is looking for friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic volunteers. Volunteers will be needed from Wednesday 2nd May until Tuesday 8th May to help with all aspects of running a successful festival. This would be a valuable experience especially for those passionate about music, arts administration, events management and stage production.
