J19 Animation Migration

Jazz meets science in an exciting collaboration between the distinguished jazz pianist Kit Downes, performing with a special quartet, animator Lesley Barnes and geneticist and ‘professional geek’ Adam Rutherford, creator of the BBC 4 Series The Cell & Genome. Inspired by the theme of genetic migration, the new audiovisual commission will be aired and the collaborators will reflect on the novel experience of working together.
